Owls, bibs, stones, and birthdays Oh My

Last night I stitched Applique Cafe's "Girly Owl" in brown and pink. I love these colors together! If you remember the diaper/tote bag I did last week for "AJ", this is the same AJ. I have a friend who's sister (or neice, or some other female relative - can't remember exactly) is having a little girl in October. She's got several showers to attend, so she had me make the bag last week and the onesie and bib this week.

Please excuse the awful lighting in my sewing room!!

So after getting to bed at about 1am, I woke about 2:30 with intense back pain. Having had many kidney stone attacks before, I knew exactly what was going on. I woke Paul up, and he got the girls up, and we all went to the ER at about 4:30.  Long story short, I've got a 6mm stone that has just outside my right kidney in the ureter, and I've got the weekend to hope it passes. I'll be following up on Monday, and if there isn't any movement, I'll likely have another retrieval surgery. It will be my 4th. Praying Mr. Stone decides to make an appearance on his own...

No needless to say I didn't get any more photos uploaded today. Tomorrow is my baby girls 3rd birthday and we've got quite a day planned! It will start when she wakes up to find that the BeeBee (binky) Fairy has taken her BeeBee and left her an AWESOME Hello Kitty big girl bike!!
Then, party at Chick-Fil-A (I won a free bday party for 10!) at 4:00 Then, because the sweet girl had her heart set on a Chuck E Cheese birthday, we're moving the party across the street to the Chucksters for some games and fun.

I WILL have the rest of my designs uploaded this weekend. I WILL!! :)

  1. What an awesome bday party!!! Wow! I would love to see a pic of the bike, it sounds pretty cool! I love all of the things you made up there. I always liked brown & pink together too. And silver & pink. When I threw my parents a big anniversary bash, it was their 25th, we did Pink for my mom's fave color and silver for 'silver anniversary' and I have really liked that combo ever since (or pink & grey). I don't really own pink things though... Except shoes. Have to have shoes in every color. I'm rambling now... in an attempt to avoid school work, I think... :) :)

Love the blog and love everything you've made and glad you're busy with orders and hoping that stupid stones works itself out :( Dislike.
